As you may know, I've been on the board of Bike Works since 2021. From that time until the present, the programs of Bike Works has been expanded into our south Seattle and south King County community. Especially programs for youth.

Prior to and upon the initiation of the current president's administration, DEI programs have been under attack on a variety of fronts. Given the mission and vision of Bike Works, we have doubled down on the organization's activities, which are an expression of our racial equity and social justice values.
